About Us
Lyle Cates Harvey, M.Ac.O.M, L.Ac. is a native of Atlanta, GA. During her time at Wellesley College, she lived abroad in Beijing, China to study Mandarin Chinese and became interested in Asian healing traditions. Lyle attended the Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine and received a Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She was trained in Chinese and Japanese styles of acupuncture, herbal medicine, Tuina orthopedic massage as well as nutritional counseling. She spent three years as an intern in Dr. Kerong Xie’s clinic, a well-known Chinese medicine doctor’s clinic in Seattle specializing in fertility and women’s health. Lyle has completed DONA training as a Birth Doula in addition to specialized training in using acupuncture in labor and delivery to ease pain and prevent complications. Her special interest is women’s health, fertility, pregnancy and post-partum care, but she welcomes all to her clinic and finds joy in helping people from all walks of life find wellness and balance.
Lyle is certified in Oriental Medicine by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncturists and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is licensed by the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners as an Acupuncturist.
Jenn Aquilina, M.Ac.O.M. Dipl.Ac. L.Ac. LMT
Practicing since 2005, Jenn has lived and practiced all over the U.S. She has gained diverse experiences working with a wide variety of people and conditions. Various styles of acupuncture from TCM to Japanese have influenced her as a practitioner. Additional training with the Arvigo Institute in Maya abdominal therapy and time spent in Peru with Q’ero indigenous healers have enriched her knowledge and understanding. Jenn especially enjoys working on women’s health issues, fertility, prenatal and postpartum concerns.
